Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Supervise day-to-day accounting and period closing activities
•Manage the integrity of the general ledger to accomplish timely financial reporting.
•Maintain sophisticated Excel spreadsheets, cash flow projections and forward-thinking re-estimates.
•Perform ongoing analysis of accounting data to produce meaningful supplementary schedules.
•Prepare general journal entries and general ledger reconciliations as needed
•Strong interpersonal and team building skills with a desire to provide value to all levels of an organization.
•Ability to think independently with the confidence to express ideas that may lead to a greater corporate good.
•High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of results-oriented urgency.
•A desire to exercise responsible judgment and communicate decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
•Problem solving and creative thinking skills with a work ethic to prove and/or disprove intuitive thought.
•Accounting degree with supervisory experience and 10+ years CORPORATE ACCOUNTING experience
•Accomplished MS Excel user with an ability to maintain and enhance sophisticated worksheets.
•Substantial knowledge in the application of GAAP with relevant knowledge of corporate taxation.
•High attention to detail, accuracy and financial reporting integrity.
•Extensive comfort with the workings of a fully integrated general ledger and ERP environment.
