•Create 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks for design changes and new products
•Create and update bills of materials (BOMs) for new and existing product
•Design new Lawn and Garden equipment to be sold throughout North America
•Assist quality team in root cause analysis and finding solutions to correct them
•Assist engineering to conduct testing and verify functionality of new designs or design improvements
•Interface with vendors to bring qualified products to market
•Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent required
•Knowledge of and experience with 3D modeling programs is a must (SolidWorks preferred)
•Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite is a must (Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Experience in part design and fabrication (machining, welding, injection molding) is preferred
•Experience in the hobbies of small engines, hydraulics, equipment maintenance is a plus
