The Business Systems Analyst candidate is responsible for working with other departments to analyze business processes to drive efficient client solutions. Candidate will work closely with business and technology to provide solutions for IT initiatives. Candidate will lead the effort to analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements to ensure the best experience for the end user. Specializes in Microsoft technologies but also has a flexible skillset.
Summary of essential job functions:
Gather and analyze business requirements to improve/enhance business processes
Serve as liaison between IT and other departments by answering questions and clarifying requirements for projects and enhancements
Perform analysis of existing business systems, applications, and functions and proactively identify and suggest improvements
Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Support the project through the entire development lifecycle from initial kick-off to production deployment to training and end user adoption
Conduct presentations and training on new systems
Identify improvement opportunities with ability to execute process enhancements.
Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical experience
Understanding of software development methodologies and organized approaches to system development
Leadership qualities, including ability to facilitate technical discussions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate to target audience to achieve desired results
Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
