Graphic Designer Department: Marketing Reports to: Creative Director

Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer who is eager to help develop and support the visual needs of our many outdoor brands. You’ll work on projects in the hunting, ice fishing, and lawn & garden industries—with our brands like Rivers Edge Treestands, Eskimo Ice Fishing Gear, Earthquake Power Equipment, Gazelle Tents and more. If you’re driven to find creative design solutions, are a problem solver by nature, and have excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you! As a member of an internal creative team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of digital and print design projects at each stage of our product lifecycle, influencing and building the visual design language of our products and brands.
Job Duties: • Assess project needs and parameters to plan and concept solutions. • Create design concepts, determining size, arrangement, and style of visual elements that meet brand goals and standards. • Develop creative design solutions to produce product packaging, logos/icons, brochures, print and digital ads, email graphics, retail support signage, and other product-specific items and promotional collateral. • Lead on-site studio photography shoots to photograph and edit new product samples. • Effectively communicate questions and solutions to creative supervisor and/or project stakeholders. • Support our internal sales team, as well as external retail partners with custom design project requests. • Learn and understand the product/design lifecycle at Ardisam, and effectively communicate project statuses, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills: • To be considered, you must share a portfolio or collection of past work, demonstrating skill in typography and layout. • Must be comfortable independently owning tasks and timelines. • Must be organized and skilled in time management, with ability to juggle multiple project timelines at once. • Must be proficient using Adobe Creative Cloud software: specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. • Photography/Videography & video editing skills are not required, but a plus. • Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Familiar working in an Apple environment.
Education: Degree in Graphic Design, a related field, or equivalent experience.
