Job Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to own and execute the marketing strategy for our Ice Fishing division, supporting the Eskimo, ION, and Jiffy brands. This role is responsible for the end-to-end creation, execution, and optimization of all advertising efforts, with a strong emphasis on social media and digital advertising.
In this role, you will work with the ice fishing leadership team to set the marketing vision and actively bring it to life. You will work closely with internal and external content creators to develop high-performing creative that drives engagement and sales. You will personally manage and optimize paid social and digital campaigns, using data and performance insights to maximize return on advertising spend and continuously improve results. This is a role for a marketer who enjoys both strategic ownership and day-to-day, hands-on execution.
Job Duties:
· Develop a clear marketing vision for each brand and product segment that aligns with the Business Unit Manager’s overall strategy to maximize consumer recognition and brand preference.
· Directly manage and optimize social media advertising campaigns to maximize engagement, return on investment (ROI), and consumer direct sales..
· Oversee and manage content creation projects from concept through completion.
· Write compelling ad copy tailored to specific platforms, audiences, and campaign objectives.
· Manage marketing budgets and allocate funding to maximize performance and efficiency.
· Collaborate with external content creators to ensure high-quality, on-brand deliverables.
· Plan, attend, and manage the company’s participation in multiple consumer shows each year.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid social and/or digital advertising campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, or similar platforms).
· Demonstrated ability to execute campaigns end-to-end, including campaign setup, targeting, budgeting, creative testing, and performance optimization.
· Strong interest in marketing and digital advertising, with a desire to learn, test, and continuously improve results.
· Experience writing or contributing to ad copy and creative concepts that drive engagement and conversion.
· Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external content creators to produce on-brand, high-quality marketing assets.
· Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required. An associate degree or equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Candidates with relevant digital advertising experience, strong interest in marketing, and demonstrated ability to execute hands-on campaigns will be considered regardless of formal education.
